FREEDOM requires RESPONSIBILITY And this is key - because most people don’t want either. Because they want neither freedom nor responsibility - they clamor for government to rule, dominate, and enslave them.
It is this simple: Are you master of yourself, or are you a slave? Are you a human being, or are you an animal? Are you a moral being who knows their foundational principles, or are you an immoral being who is ignorant of right and wrong? Are you conscious and awake? Or, are you unconscious and asleep? Do you know Natural Law and align yourself with it, or do you choose to be ignorant of it or not align yourself with it? Are the moral principles that guide your every action those that you have discovered and established for yourself? Or do you have no morality except that which you have been told is right from forces outside of you? Do you choose peaceful slavery, or dangerous freedom? Are you a rational, reasoning adult? Or are you an unthinking, emotional child?
You are one or the other. There is no middle ground.
