The Restoration of the Salt Body
The Lunar Sphere of the Silver Body
When Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15 that “there is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars,” he’s describing stages of being. Just as there are bodies terrestrial and celestial, there are levels of consciousness we pass through on the path of transformation. The lunar body is the first of the celestial states—where you step out of the terrestrial confusion of survival mode and begin to reflect a higher light. Like the moon, this body does not generate its own illumination. It catches and mirrors the light of something greater, and in doing so, begins to change its own nature.
In the lunar body, you are still subject to cycles. There are times of fullness, when insight floods you, and times of darkness, when you feel empty or lost. You still see shadows, but they no longer frighten you—they teach you. Through elemental work, ritual, and discipline, you refine yourself so that you can hold more light. Just as the moon governs the tides, the lunar body helps you begin to govern your own inner tides—your emotions, impulses, and thoughts. This is preparation for the greater glory Paul speaks of: the glory of the sun. Without the lunar stage, the solar body would be too much, too soon. The moon is the mirror that teaches you to see; the sun is the source that teaches you to shine.
