Demon
“To demonize someone or something” - to fear it and project all your fear and hatred at it.
Perhaps that which we think of as “Demons” are the dark, hidden aspects of ourself. That which we repress, deny, ignore, fear….
The inner demons our our deep dark primordial energies, consciousnesses,
We human beings have created and fed demons because we are so schizophrenic, divided, existing in darkness, fear and ignorance
Yet… There are negative low-frequency, low-consciousness beings that exist and can have presence and influence in the human reality…
The original Ancient Greek word daimōn (δαίμων) did not carry negative connotations, as it denotes a spirit or divine power. The Greek conception of a daimōn notably appears in the philosophical works of Plato, where it describes the divine inspiration of Socrates.
When a new religion comes in, like Christianity, it is easy for it to declare that all the previous gods and idols are “demons”
In Western esotericism and Renaissance magic a demon is believed to be a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled.

Daemonic Heriarchy
“Now every one of these spirits is a great prince, and hath much power and freedom in the dominion of his own planets, and signs, and in their times, years, months, days, and hours, and in their elements, and parts of the world, and winds. And every one of them rules over many legions. And after the same manner amongst evil spirits, there are four which as most potent kings are set over the rest, according to the four parts of the world, whose names are these, viz. Urieus, king of the east; Amaymon, king of the south; Paymon, king of the west; Egin, king of the north: which the Hebrew doctors perhaps call more rightly thus, Samuel, Azazel, Azael, Mahazuel, under whom many other rule as princes of legions, and rulers; also there are innumerable demons of private offices. But he which desires to know exactly the distinct names, offices, places, and times of angels, and evil demons, let him inquire into the book of Rabbi Simon of the Temples, and in his Book of Lights, and in his treatise of the Greatness of Stature; and in the treatise of the Temples of Rabbi Ishmael, and in almost all the commentaries of his Book of Formation; and he shall find it written at large concerning them.” ~Henry Cornelius Agrippa *Rabbi Ishmael is credited for ‘Description of the Body of God’ “The work purports to be a revelation from the archangel Metatron to Rabbi Ishmael on the proportions and holy names attached to the members of the body of God.” ~Agrippa
