For centuries, we've been told that the medieval model of the universe—with Earth at the center, surrounded by concentric spheres of planets and stars—was simply primitive astronomy. A quaint relic of pre-scientific thinking, swept away by Copernicus and Galileo.
But what if this dismissal, which is representative of how our modern science is totally divorced and devoid of spirit, of deeper inner understanding, represents a great ignorance…. What if the ancients were never mapping the external cosmos at all, but were encoding something far more precious—a blueprint for the architecture of consciousness itself?
This diagram is a sacred geography that has been hidden in plain sight for over two millennia.
The map of the Aristotelian-Ptolemaic cosmos was never meant to be a map of the literal universe. It is a map of YOU.
not a map of the heavens as the astronomers might draw it, but a sacred diagram of your being, a ladder of light stretching from the dust of Earth to the mind of God. It is a map of the psyche and the soul.
“This is a map of your aura. This is how you complete the Great Work. Once you have activated all these different levels, you have completed the great work.” - Damien Echols
Now, this is not to say that everyone throughout history knew this and understood this. Likely, most people in the medieval and ancient periods believed in this model literally. But like most religious and spiritual texts, myths, and teachings - there is a deeper symbolic and metaphorical truth that is being conveyed - that is lost on both those who fully believe in it and on those who reject it for being unscientific.
This Map of the Soul is a series of concentric spheres, like the crystalline orbs of old cosmology, each one a station of your consciousness, a layer of your aura, a rung on Jacob’s Ladder upon which angels are constantly ascending and descending from heaven to Earth. We begin at the center, with Earth, and we’ll spiral outward and upward through the elements, the planets, the stars, and beyond—into the divine fire of the Empyrean and the silent unity of the Monad.

It is a "map of being" and reveals the very "architecture of the soul"
not a map of the external cosmos, but a symbolic diagram of the inner ascent
the medieval cosmological model was never just astronomy—it was psycho-cosmology. The scholastics who preserved this wisdom encoded within their celestial mechanics the very blueprint of consciousness ascending toward its divine source.
This is the truth of the statement attributed to Hermes "As above, so below" - our soul's architecture mirrors the cosmic hierarchy. Each sphere represents a station of consciousness, a grade of being, a rung on Jacob's Ladder that we must activate, integrate, and transcend.
Aristotelian-Ptolemaic cosmology—later adopted and modified by Hermeticists, Neoplatonists, Kabbalists, and Christian mystics—is not a literal picture of the universe, but a symbolic representation of the layered structure of consciousness, the initiatory path of the soul, and the framework of the Great Work.
This cosmology was preserved and exalted by Robert Fludd, Dante, Ramon Llull, and the Rosicrucians, and reflects the worldview of the ancient magi: that “the universe is within you,” and thus every movement through the stars is a movement within the soul - and vice versa.
Each concentric circle represents a stage of soul evolution or an aspect of the self, and ascending through them is a spiritual and magical journey—like climbing Jacob’s Ladder, or traversing the Tarot and Tree of Life.
Moving from the center concentric circle of the Map of the Soul and expanding one’s being and intelligence outward and upward. All the way to merging with the Mind of God
Seeing the entirety of creation reflected in the astrological model of the universe. And using that astrological model of the universe to understand the map, the ladder, the process of ascension upwards through the elements and spheres.
The planetary spheres, initially understood as astronomical entities, consistently function as symbolic layers of consciousness and psychological influence in these traditions. The journey through these spheres, whether a Hermetic ascent of unveiling, a Gnostic escape from Archonic control, or the Grail Knight's navigation of challenges, is fundamentally about confronting and integrating the aspects of the self that are conditioned by these cosmic forces.
Esoteric orders have used the Kabbalistic tree of life as a 10 step grade system of spiritual, mystical, alchemical, and magical evolution - but the Map of the Soul may be an even better blueprint of the Path.
"As Above, So Below": The Macrocosm as Microcosm
a profound identity between the macrocosm (the universe) and the microcosm (the individual soul). This principle suggests that the structure and dynamics of the cosmos are mirrored within the human being, implying no fundamental separation between inner and outer, self and world, or divine and mundane.
the soul's architecture mirrors the cosmic hierarchy.
Historical Contexts
The Aristotelian model, developed in the 4th century BCE, posits Earth at the universe’s center, surrounded by concentric spheres carrying the Moon, planets, Sun, fixed stars, and beyond. Ptolemy’s refinements in the 2nd century CE added mathematical precision, dominating Western thought until the Copernican revolution. Medieval scholars, influenced by Aristotle and Ptolemy, expanded this model to include the Primum Mobile and Empyrean, aligning it with Christian theology where the Empyrean was God’s abode (Luminarium Encyclopedia).
In esoteric traditions, this model was reinterpreted symbolically. The geocentric perspective, with humanity at the center, mirrors the microcosm-macrocosm principle: the individual reflects the universe. Esotericists like Hermeticists and Gnostics used this structure to map the soul’s ascent, a practice that persisted despite scientific shifts to heliocentrism, as it resonated with spiritual rather than physical truths (Wikipedia)
- Aristotle: the unmoved mover, the nested crystalline spheres.
- Ptolemy: celestial mechanics as divine geometry.
- Dante: journey from Hell through Heaven, ascending the heavens to the Empyrean.
The geocentric model, which places Earth at the center of the universe, was the dominant cosmological view across many ancient European civilizations, including Classical Greece and Roman Egypt, and later within the Islamic Golden Age. While the fundamental principles of Greek geocentrism were established by Aristotle, the definitive details of his system were not standardized until Claudius Ptolemaeus developed his comprehensive system in the 2nd century AD. Ptolemy's monumental work, the Almagest, synthesized centuries of astronomical observations and theories from Hellenic, Hellenistic, and Babylonian astronomers, becoming the accepted cosmological model for over a millennium in Europe and the Islamic world.
The structure of this geocentric cosmos was meticulously defined. Celestial bodies such as the Sun, Moon, planets, and fixed stars were believed to be embedded within rotating, transparent spheres composed of a fifth element known as aether or quintessence. These ethereal spheres were thought to be nested concentrically, fitting tightly without any intervening spaces. To account for the observed complex motions of planets, particularly their puzzling
retrograde motion—where they appeared to slow down, stop, and reverse direction—Ptolemy introduced a sophisticated system of deferents and epicycles. A deferent was a larger circle around the Earth, along which the center of a smaller circle, the epicycle, moved. The planet itself then orbited on this epicycle. Further refinements, such as the
equant, were introduced to explain variations in planetary speed, a point from which the epicycle's center would appear to move uniformly, even though this technically departed from the Platonic ideal of perfect circular motion. Early Greek cosmologies, like Anaximander's fiery rings and Anaximenes' crystal sphere for stars, laid the conceptual groundwork for the spherical universe that was later embraced by philosophers such as Pythagoras, Plato, and Aristotle.
Philosophically, the Aristotelian-Ptolemaic system was underpinned by a fundamental division of the cosmos into two distinct realms, each governed by different laws of nature. The
Sublunar and Superlunar
The philosophical division of the cosmos into distinct sublunary (change, elements) and superlunary (perfection, aether) realms perfectly mirrored the esoteric distinction between the material self and the higher, immutable soul.
sublunary region, encompassing Earth and everything up to the Moon, was characterized by change, corruption, birth, growth, decay, and death. Substances here were composed of the four elements: earth, water, air, and fire. Each element possessed a natural place, with earth, being the heaviest, seeking the cosmos's center, thus explaining Earth's central position. Natural motions in this realm were radial, either upwards or downwards. In stark contrast, the
superlunary realm, or the heavens, was a domain of perfection and immutability, composed solely of the incorruptible aether. Heavenly bodies moved in perfectly circular and uniform motions, with all cosmic movements ultimately originating from the Prime Mover, an unmoved entity located beyond the sphere of fixed stars. This cosmology posited a finite universe, entirely filled with matter, with no empty spaces or vacua.
The enduring appeal of the geocentric model extended far beyond its scientific accuracy. Despite its mathematical complexities, which were sometimes described as "unwieldy" and even violated certain philosophical ideals , it provided remarkably accurate predictions for planetary positions and eclipses for over 1,500 years. More profoundly, its persistence was deeply connected to its anthropocentric and intuitive resonance. From an Earth-bound perspective, the Sun, Moon, and stars visibly revolve around the observer, and the Earth itself feels solid, stable, and stationary.
Damien Echols on the Map of the Soul
“I‘ve described many times how I found the cosmological model of the universe to be far more useful to me on my path than the tree of life diagram, even though the tree of life is what’s used in most modern orders and lodges. The thing I found useful about these images is that they show you exactly what work has to be done in every stage of the Great Work as we ascend what the Bible calls Jacob’s ladder. If you remember the story of Jacob, he falls asleep in a sacred place and has a dream of a ladder that ascends from earth to heaven, and he sees angels moving up and down it. That ladder is another metaphor for the cosmological map. Both are referring to different levels of our own soul/energy system. This is why its said that the entire universe is within you. The first step of the work/rung of the ladder is the elemental level. This is where we balance and harmonize the aspects of our selves symbolized by earth, air, fire, and water. These are the densest levels of energy within our aura. The next step of the process is the planetary work. This is when we start to activate, energize, and strengthen the parts of our soul or aura that correspond to the planetary levels in the diagram. These are more ethereal levels which are farther away from the physical body. The third step of the work/rung of Jacob’s ladder is what the Bible calls the firmament. The zodiacal work, which lies beyond even the planetary levels. It’s doing this work which breaks the cycle of uncontrollable incarnation into the physical world. Lastly, the highest level of the Great Work involves ascending to the Empyrean - the mind of God. This is what all the prophets of the Old Testament described - Prophets such as Ezekiel and Enoch. When you complete this work, you become the equivalent of what the bible calls a prophet. But as with most things biblical, this does not mean what the profane world believes it to mean. A prophet is not someone who sees the future - it is someone who understands the past, and who knows themselves on the deepest levels.”
The Cosmic Anthropology
What emerges from this work is a completely different understanding of what it means to be human. The modern worldview tells us we are insignificant specks in a vast, random universe. But the Map of the Soul reveals something far more profound: we are indeed the center of the universe—not in an egoic sense, but in the deepest spiritual sense.
From the perspective of consciousness, you ARE the center. The entire cosmos is arranged around the viewing point of your awareness. Every star, every planet, every galaxy exists in relationship to the sacred center of your being. This is why the ancients placed Earth (and therefore you the Human Soul) at the center of their cosmology—they understood that consciousness is the fundamental reality, and everything else is its expression. They knew that you as the microcosm were a perfect mirror of the macrocosm. That you are the child of God.
Yes, Maybe you ARE the Center of the Universe
The hermetic understanding the Man is the Brother/Son of God, That we ARE the center of the universe - but not necessarily in an egoic way The modern model of the universe makes us feel and think that we are insignificant, that the universe is random….
The modern man would probably scoff at me and call me delusional and arrogant for saying this…. How dare you say that “man is the measure of all things” But is the modern man truly humble? No, he is just an atheistic materialist who doesn’t have any sense of the great orchestration of existence, that he does have a divine Creator…. He scoffs at the idea of the individual soul’s greatness and centrality to existence and life itself - yet he lives his life in a very egoic and myopic manner, so narrowly focused on his own petty thoughts, and if you were to hear his thoughts and the story playing out in his mind - it would show that he believes his ego to be the God of his own world…..
“Man is a marvel, then, Asclepius; honour and reverence to him, for he passes into the nature of a god as though he were himself a god.” - Asclepius (section 6)
“Man is the Measure of all Things.” – Protagoras of Abdera (480-410 B.C.)
The Soul’s Descent
The soul's journey in Hermetic thought begins with a descent through the seven planetary spheres, collectively termed the Hebdomad. Each of these spheres functions as a "filter of divine light" and a "shaping force of human psychology," imbuing the soul with specific qualities, much like "garments". This process of descent causes the soul to become enmeshed in egoic energies and to forget its true, divine nature.
The qualities acquired during this descent, and the corresponding lessons for ascent, are intricately linked to each planet:
- The Moon is associated with memory, repetition, birth, and decay, governing the physical body and instinctual tides. The ascent through this sphere involves transcending the cyclical nature of material existence.
- Mercury is linked to language, intellect, duality, thought, and contradiction. Its mastery in ascent fosters clarity of thought and facilitates connection between higher and lower realms.
- Venus represents desire, connection, attraction, and the "ache of beauty." The path of ascent through Venus involves transmuting earthly desires into divine love and harmony.
- The Sun embodies identity, illumination, and will, representing the core "I" and its yearning for coherence. Spiritual awakening and the realization of the true Self are the fruits of ascending through the solar sphere.
- Mars signifies strife, drive, fire, ambition, and destruction. Its ascent involves mastering one's will and resolving inner and outer conflicts.
- Jupiter is associated with order, law, meaning, philosophy, expansion, and the moral sense. Ascending through Jupiter teaches divine law, ethical behavior, and benevolence.
- Saturn, as the outermost sphere in the traditional Ptolemaic cosmology, represents time, limitation, structure, and death. While its descent bestows an understanding of mortality, its ascent symbolizes overcoming earthly limitations and transcending the confines of time.
Beyond the Hebdomad lies the Ogdoad, or the "eighth sphere," which corresponds to the realm of the fixed stars. This is not a physical location but a state of heightened awareness where the purified soul begins to remember its divine origin. It signifies the release from identification with the "seven emotional powers" or "twelve tormentors" (such as lust, envy, anger, and deceit) that bind the soul through unconsciousness. This liberation marks the "first real freedom" and the commencement of psychological individuation, allowing one to witness archetypes without being possessed by them.
Further ascent leads to the Ennead, or the "ninth light," which is the realm of Nous—the divine mind or pure intelligence from which all archetypes emanate. In this sphere, one moves beyond analyzing life to contemplating it in unity, where the Self becomes a mirror of the universal.
The One (Monad), the ineffable source beyond being, which is attained not through intellectual thought but through gnosis, a profound act of remembering one's true nature.
The Hermetic ascent is understood not merely as a linear climb but as a reversal of the soul's incarnation. The soul's initial descent through the planetary spheres is a process of accrual and forgetting, where it takes on the influences of each sphere, becoming increasingly enmeshed in material and psychological conditioning. Therefore, the ascent is a profound process of unveiling or stripping away these acquired layers, a "remembering" of the original, purified state.
The Soul’s Ascent Through the Spheres
Hermetic
In Hermeticism, texts like the Poimandres describe the soul’s ascent through seven planetary spheres, shedding vices (e.g., lust in Venus, arrogance in Sun) to achieve divine unity (Poimandres Ascent of the Soul - Cosolargy).
Each planet corresponds to a metal and stage (e.g., Mercury with quicksilver, dissolution), guiding the alchemist toward the philosopher’s stone
The Gnostic-Christic Vision
The Gnostic tradition adds another layer to this understanding. They saw the planetary spheres not just as levels of consciousness, but as domains ruled by the Archons—the false gods who seek to keep the soul trapped in forgetfulness. Each sphere presents a test, a challenge that must be met with gnosis—direct spiritual knowledge.
But here's the beautiful paradox: the very forces that seem to imprison the soul are also the powers that can liberate it. The Moon's tides of emotion, once mastered, become the currents that carry you to higher awareness. Mercury's quicksilver mind, once refined, becomes the vehicle for divine communication. Venus's magnetic attraction, once purified, becomes the force that draws you into union with the Divine.
The Archons are not enemies to be defeated, but aspects of yourself to be integrated and transformed. Each planetary sphere is both a prison and a classroom, both a limitation and a liberation.
Gnosticism portrays a similar journey, where the soul navigates past archons (planetary rulers) to reach the Pleroma, the divine fullness (Journeying Through the Spheres – Gnostic Style).
Prayers or seals to bypass archons, as in Pistis Sophia, facilitate the soul’s ascent.
the journey from the material Kenoma back to the Fullness of Divine Light.
Each sphere represents a veil that must be penetrated, an archon that must be transformed from adversary to ally.
The Gnostic recognizes that we are not really climbing toward God, but remembering our divine nature that was never truly lost.
Each Archon presides over its own celestial sphere, actively preventing souls from transcending the material realm. Specific Archons are named and associated with planets, such as Yaldabaoth (Saturn), Yao (Jupiter), Sabaoth (Mars), Adonaios (Sun), Astaphaios (Venus), Elaios (Mercury), and Horaios (Moon). When a Gnostic's spirit attempts to ascend through these spheres, the presiding Archon would intercept it, posing a series of questions. Failure to answer these questions correctly—indicating insufficient
gnosis—would result in the spirit being detained and perpetually subjected to the Archons' tyranny. From the Gnostic perspective, the majority of humanity exists as "puppets of the Archons," experiencing a state akin to "literal demonic possession" due to their pervasive influence.
Grail Knight’s Quest
The Holy Grail quest parallels this, with the Grail symbolizing spiritual enlightenment, achieved through trials that test virtues like courage (Mars) or love (Venus)
The four elements can be seen as earthly trials—the tests of character that prepare you for the higher mysteries. The planetary spheres can be seen as initiatory chambers—each one conferring specific gifts and challenges.

An Overview of the Spheres: The Sacred Geography
The Map of the Soul is a cosmic journey through the spheres of existence, guiding the soul from the earthly to the divine. Each sphere represents a layer of being, and together they align with the four alchemical stages—Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo—and the four stages of High Magick: Elemental, Planetary, Zodiacal, Source.
The Elemental Foundation: The Nigredo of the Soul
We begin our journey on the Map of the Soul in the sublunary realm, where the four elements—Earth, Water, Air, and Fire—form the prima materia, the raw material of your being. This is the Nigredo, the alchemical blackening, where you confront the densest layers of your aura, the earthly trials that shape the soul’s foundation. Here, you purify and balance these elements, transmuting the lead of your personality into something refined.
- Earth: The physical body, the vessel of flesh and bone anchoring you to the material world, steady and central like the Aristotelian core.
- Water: The emotional body, a subconscious sea of feelings, intuition, and tidal pulls.
- Air: The mental body, the breath of intellect, thought, and reason.
- Fire: The spiritual body, the spark of will, passion, and transformation.
Corresponds with Malkuth on the Tree of Life
In the Nigredo, you harmonize these four aspects—grounding the body, purifying emotional waters, clarifying mental air, and kindling spiritual fire. This is the alchemical black work, where you face your shadow, confront psychological complexes, and prepare the soul for its ascent through the higher spheres.
The Planetary Spheres
Ascending from the elemental foundation, we enter the planetary spheres—the Hebdomad of seven: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. This is the Albedo, the whitening, where the soul engages with archetypes that shape its ethereal layers. Each sphere, ruled by a planet and guided by an angelic intelligence or tested by an archon, is a laboratory for refining the self, aligning with the alchemical stage of purification.
- Moon: The astral body, a silver mirror of intuition, dreams, and emotional tides, guided by Gabriel to unlock deeper mysteries.
- Mercury: The quicksilver mind, the messenger of intellect and adaptability, under Raphael, bridging higher and lower realms.
- Venus: The heart’s rose, radiating love, beauty, and harmony, led by Anael to foster divine connection.
- Sun: The golden core, the Higher Self, the radiant identity, ruled by Michael, awakening your true nature.
- Mars: The warrior’s fire, the sphere of courage and action, with Samael, channeling bold will to overcome obstacles.
- Jupiter: The king of wisdom, expansion, and abundance, under Zadkiel, guiding you toward meaning and divine law.
- Saturn: The teacher of time and discipline, guarded by Cassiel, where limits are transcended to reach eternity, breaking the chains of the Demiurge.
Corresponds with Spheres 9-5 on Tree of Life
In the Albedo, you activate these archetypal powers: harmonizing lunar instincts, sharpening mercurial thought, opening venusian love, kindling solar purpose, tempering martial courage, expanding jovian wisdom, and passing through saturnian gates of limitation. This whitening purifies the soul, preparing it for the cosmic ascent ahead.
The Zodiac & Fixed Stars
Beyond the planetary spheres lies the stellar realm of the Zodiac and Fixed Stars, the cosmic wheel of archetypes. This is the Citrinitas, the yellowing, where the soul, having integrated elemental and planetary energies, encounters the forces shaping its destiny—the 12 zodiac signs, 36 decans, and 72 angelic intelligences, such as those of the Shem Operation. Here, the initiate confronts the Wheel of Necessity, the karmic patterns etched across lifetimes.
The magus has integrated the elemental and planetary energies and is now working with the highest energies of the cosmos, that represented by the zodiac and the fixed stars, the highest stars and energy sources in our reality.
- Zodiac and Fixed Stars: The celestial firmament, home to the 12 signs (Aries to Pisces) and luminous guardians like the Royal Stars (Aldebaran, Regulus, Antares, Fomalhaut). This sphere embodies pure archetypes, where individual consciousness begins to merge with cosmic awareness, breaking the bonds of fate to claim spiritual sovereignty.
Corresponds with Tipareth and up to the supernal triad on the Tree of Life
In the Citrinitas, you navigate the zodiacal currents and stellar influences, transcending unconscious incarnation. Guided by angelic forces, you crystallize solar consciousness, aligning with the cosmic order and awakening to your divine purpose.
The Primum Mobile & Empyrean
Beyond the Zodiac and Fixed Stars, we ascend to the highest spheres: the Primum Mobile and the Empyrean, where the soul unites with the divine. This is the Rubedo, the reddening, the alchemical culmination where human consciousness merges with the infinite source, achieving the philosopher’s stone.
- Primum Mobile (from Latin, “First Mover”): The sphere of divine motion, driven by angelic choirs—Thrones, Dominions, and Principalities. It is the cosmic engine, the first breath of divine will that sets all lower spheres spinning, initiating creation’s dance.
- Empyrean (from Greek em-pyros, “in the fire”): The radiant realm of pure Being, the dwelling of God, Seraphim, and Cherubim, composed of undifferentiated light, the Ain Soph Aur. Here, the soul meets the Monad, the singular Source, the I AM. At the very end of Dante's Paradiso, Dante visits God in the Empyrean. "the source of light". the dwelling-place of God, the blessed, celestial beings so divine they are made of pure light, and the source of light and creation.
In the Rubedo, you transcend individuality, becoming a prophet—not merely foreseeing the future, but knowing your divine nature through deep self-understanding. This is the marriage of human and divine, where the soul returns to the light of creation, fully unified with the Source.

The Initiatory Journey
This map is not just descriptive—it's operative. This is a blueprint for the Great Work, the magnum opus of consciousness transformation that every true initiate must undertake.
The ancients understood something we've forgotten: you are not really climbing toward God—you are remembering your divine nature and re-traversing the path of descent. The soul's journey is not ascent but unveiling, not accumulation but stripping away the layers of conditioning that have made you forget who you truly are.
And this is a Great Work that must be completed while in incarnation, while in the physical body.
The Living Practice
But how do you actually work with this map? How does one ascend the spheres? How do you transform this ancient wisdom into living practice?
You are literally building these spheres within your subtle body. Through ritual, prayer, and magical practice, you activate dormant capacities, you crystallize the energies and intelligences within you.
Each planetary sphere becomes a laboratory of consciousness. You invoke the lunar forces and work with dreams, intuition, and the cycles of the psyche. You call upon Mercury and develop the ability to move fluidly between different levels of awareness. You open to Venus and transmute earthly desire into divine love. You kindle the solar fire and discover your true will. You invoke Mars and develop the courage to face whatever obstacles arise on the path. You call upon Jupiter and expand your consciousness to encompass larger and larger circles of understanding. You work with Saturn and learn to transcend the limitations of time and space.
The Crystallization of one’s Aura & Completion of the Magnum Opus
The Map of the Soul reveals that the spiritual journey is not a linear ascent but a spiral return. We descend into matter to gain experience, then ascend back to spirit enriched by that experience.
We passed through all these spheres in our eons long gradual descent from the celestial state into the dream of individuality, soul expression….. To return and ascend back up requires the step-by-step re-integration of all these energies, all these lessons. One must pass each stage and the Archon that rules that stage, sphere, level.
The ancients walked this path and understood that it has it’s own universal pattern. They mapped the path onto their understanding of existence and the cosmos and the human soul-consciousness
The map is a step-by-step widening of the sphere of one’s being/consciousness. From the elemental physical Earthly experience and moving steadily upward to higher and higher states of being, represented by planets, the sun, the stars, and beyond the firmament into the Mind of God…..
The Map of the Soul is ultimately a construction manual for the Light Body, the Merkabah, the Solar Vehicle that carries consciousness beyond the wheel of incarnation. Each sphere is a step in building your aura, your total “body/being” into a living star. The building of the solar body is done when you activate all the different parts of the soul. Then you have completed The Great Work. Your work here is done. For what good would it be to hang around here when you have already completed the game?
Closing
When you look up at the night sky, remember: you are not looking at distant objects in empty space. You are looking at the outer expression of your own inner architecture. The cosmos is an ordered system and it goes far beyond the material paradigm and perspective that our modern culture teaches us. You as the conscious human soul exist at the center of existence, containing a microcosm within and a macrocosm without - but it is all different layers and dimensions of your Cosmic Self.
You are that sphere who’s “center is everywhere and circumference is nowhere” You stand in and on the elemental world of the Earth You interact with the spheres of the 7 planets You move through the zodiacal sphere’s 12 archetypes You see the fixed stars shining bright and steady way up high And beyond it all is the invisible yet all-pervasive Empyrean, the Mind of God in which this whole simulation of consciousness is dreamt….
It is your destiny to consciously ascend that ladder, rise up through the nested concentric spheres
The path of the Initiate of the Mysteries is to systematically master each sphere as they ascend upwards throughout many lifetimes and for some, within the span of a single lifetime.
