The Nature of Belief. What is Belief?
Your identity is a belief
Your existence as a physiological being is a belief “You are the imagination of yourself”
Reality itself is a belief in the mind of The Creator.
Everything is a belief Without belief you couldn’t experience anything at all
Belief is reality, reality is a belief
Belief is Limitation
It is limiting infinite potential into a form, an idea, an experience.
All beliefs are veils
…
Belief is the automatic assumption of truth/reality/realness
Belief by its nature doesn’t seem to be a “belief”, but seems to be a FACT
Beliefs are self-reinforcing Beliefs by their very nature give themselves validity
Your belief produces evidence for its veracity in your reality-experience
Going beyond belief to knowing
Belief
Belief is all
Belief IS Reality Reality is belief
We would not experience any reality at all if not belief We create our entire reality from our belief, in a deeply subconscious way The human realm is created from the collective agreed upon beliefs, the collective agreed upon reality.
If you believe you can - you can If you believe you can’t - you can’t
Does the sun rise because we believe it will rise
Belief Creates Reality
“Belief is what creates each person’s reality, what each accepts into his or her consciousness as factual. If an individual has no knowledge of something that does exist, that something cannot be in that person’s reality. If someone does has information but doesn’t believe it, then it is not true, not real, for that individual. When a person believes something that exists only in his or her mind, that is reality to that individual.”
- Matthew Ward
Beliefs are self-perpetuating
Whatever you believe you experience Whatever you believe becomes “real” So you might as well believe what you prefer, what serves you to be more of your true joyful self
The Nature of Belief
As we explore the very nature of belief, as we begin to consciously choose and define our fundamental beliefs/definitions about ourselves and reality then we can be free to hold any belief, or no belief We can hold simultaneously contradictory beliefs in our mind at the same time and so transcend the belief/disbelief duality and experience directly Reality beyond belief We understand that reality IS belief That belief is a tool That belief is the foundation of ALL our experience
That the foundational belief is “I”
Human Beings must evolve our relationship with belief. We must drop our attachments to our limited beliefs and understand that all beliefs are valid, and no beliefs are ultimately valid. That they are all relative. It is the rigid adherence to our beliefs that separate us and make us seem “right” as we make others “wrong” Even people who think they are too intelligent for beliefs such as scientists and academics are themselves buying into belief systems.
- belief in the infallibility of “science”
- belief in objective reality
- belief in materialism as truth
