The problem with skeptics is they aren’t skeptical of their own skepticism. They don’t have epistemological humility about ALL claims to knowledge.
Their skepticism only extends to the things that fall outside of the ideology, paradigm, and worldview that they exist in. They don't apply the knife of skepticism to the foundational pillars of their perception, belief, and reality. They already have a built-in belief about what it is they are approaching.
A surface-level skeptic will only be able to manifest in life the result of that belief. If they believe something isn’t real and can’t be true and will not happen - then that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Their intense disbelief in anything outside of their paradigm (which is almost always materialistic and reductionistic) precludes them from ever experiencing that would contradict their edifice of beliefs that they take as objective reality.
You must question everything, and then even question your ability to question - and you must pass through that fire.
Only then can you transcend blind belief or reflexive doubt, skepticism or faith and therefore discover Knowledge.
