The Mystery Before Manifestation
Book I begins not with an object in space but with the unspeakable Source of all possibility and being. The opening sequence—Ain, Ein Sof, Ein Sof Aur—is a spiritual grammar of negation, infinity, and light rather than three events occurring at successive clock times.
The Three Veils
Ain / Ayin: no-thing; freedom from every finite predication.
Ein Sof: the limitless, unbounded by finite measure.
Ein Sof Aur: limitless light, expressing abundance before differentiated manifestation.
The standardized three-veils diagram is especially familiar from later Hermetic Qabalah, while Ein Sof also belongs deeply to Jewish Kabbalah.
Divine Names and Philosophical Languages
The One, the Good, Being itself, the Infinite, the Father, the hidden God: traditions draw different distinctions among these. The Royal Art studies their resonances without requiring all formulations to be identical.
Divine Attributes
Eternity, infinity, simplicity, unity, goodness, wisdom, love, power, truth, beauty, and presence. Infinite power is not arbitrary domination; perfect freedom need not be opposition.
The Paradox of Speech
God is beyond the names we give; God is also encountered through names. This paradox is the gateway to apophatic and cataphatic theology.
The Royal Art
The Source is not the first rival in a universe of beings. It is what makes all beings possible. All later diagrams—Tree, number, letter, Tarot, and the paths—are ways of contemplating the relation of the unbounded to manifestation.
