The Human Before Exile
The original human being belongs to the divine order, not as an independent rival to God but as an image and participant in the fullness of Reality.
Adam Kadmon
In Kabbalistic cosmology Adam Kadmon signifies a primordial configuration or archetypal human in the unfolding of worlds. It should be distinguished from Adam of Eden and from later Hermetic descriptions of the cosmic Human.
Image and Likeness
Genesis portrays humanity as made in God's image. Christian traditions develop this toward communion, love, knowledge, virtue, and participation in divine life.
The Logos and Sonship
The Christian language of Christ as true image and Son raises the question of how human sonship participates in divine life. ACIM develops Sonship and extension into a metaphysical account in which separation does not alter Reality.
Hermetic Anthropos
The divine Human of the Poimandres provides a different symbolic account of humanity's relation to cosmic Nature, intellect, immortality, and eventual misidentification.
The Microcosm
The human being reflects orders of the cosmos through body, soul, intellect, imagination, relation, and spiritual capacity. The microcosm is a map of analogy, not a claim that biology literally contains every celestial sphere.

Toward the Fall
Book II asks how these capacities become distorted by the premise of private authorship and separation. The Restoration does not invent new powers; it releases their original truth.
