Judaism and Christianity as Descendants of Sumerian Spirituality

Old Testament “god” = Enlil?
Zecharia Sitchin and other ancient astronaut theorists suggest:
- Enlil was the powerful overlord of Earth, often wrathful, judgmental, concerned with order and obedience.
- Enki, his brother, was a benevolent alchemist and geneticist who sought to uplift mankind (promethean).
- The God of the Old Testament, especially in early Torah, resembles Enlil: commanding, jealous, destroying cities, demanding obedience.
