The Answer to Adam
Adam inaugurates the exile; Christ recapitulates humanity and reverses its pattern. Adam / Christ Eden / Gethsemane Tree / Cross Disobedience / Surrender Hiding / Self-offering Death / Resurrection Exile / Return Christ is not merely another teacher appearing later. He is the answer to Adam: the Son who enters the whole condition of exile and opens the way of Return.

Exodus Interiorized
The life of Jesus echoes and fulfills the Mosaic pattern: the threatened infant, Egypt, water and baptism, wilderness, mountain, teaching, miraculous bread, the Twelve, liberation, and Passover. Moses leads Israel from Pharaoh; Christ liberates consciousness from the ego. Moses gives Torah; Christ reveals the Law of Love written upon the heart. The Exodus becomes the inner passage from bondage and fear into the freedom of the Kingdom.
