The Garden of Eden Before the Fall

"The first diagram we need to examine is the Garden of Eden before the Fall, when humanity was living in a state of perfection Spiritually. At the apex of the diagram was the Supernal Eden that contained the three Supernal Sephiroth of Kether, Chokmah, and Binah. Eima Elohim, the Supernal Mother, resided in Eden. In the "Book of Revelation" from the New Testament on The Holy Bible, she is the woman of the Apocalypse. She carries on her head a Crown of Twelve Stars, alluding through Twelve Zodiac. She has the Sun in her chest and the Moon at her feet, representing the perfect balance between the masculine and feminine energies. The power of the Father, the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) is contained within this diagram as well. These are the Four Elements of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil springs out of Malkuth- the Earth, represented by the branches with leaves coming out of it, symbolic of the Seven Ancient Planets in their binary form. Seven branches rise upwards to the Tree of life and the lower seven Sephiroth, while another seven rise downwards... Within diagram is a sense of balance as the Father is joined to the Mother... Before the Fall from the Garden of Eden, we were living a Spiritual reality and were receiving energy directly from the Supernals. The whole Tree of Life was open to us, and our consciousness was aligned with the Higher Self of the Spirit energy..." - from "The Magus: Kundalini and the Golden Dawn" by Neven Paar

The Garden of Eden After the Fall

"Eve was tempted by the Serpent to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Symbolically, the Tree of Life she was supporting crashed down as she reached to pick the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. Notice here that the Serpent is found as the one who tempts Eve and is the initial cause of the Fall. Due to some innate curiosity or desire, Eve listens to the Serpent and does the one thing that God told Adam and Eve not to do. Firstly, the idea of the Serpent can be likened to the Kundalini energy in a human-the trigger that causes the evolution of consciousness and the full activation of the Body of Light. It is no coincidence that the Serpent is present in this cryptic story is one of the key players, along with Adam, Eve, and of course God-the Creator. As the Serpent is the cause of the Fall, he must be found again in the effect-in restoring the Garden of Eden. Hence, it can be said that a Kundalini awakening, awakening the Serpent Power, is a way back into the Garden of Eden... At one time, Daath was Malkuth, symbolically, and Spirit was Matter. But after the Fall, Daath becomes the separation point between the Spirit (Heaven), and the world of the duality of good and evil (Earth). This chasm is in the mind as the mind is the connecting link to Spirit and Matter..." - from "The Magus: Kundalini and the Golden Dawn" by Neven Paar
