The authority problem is the mind’s resistance to its true Source. The separated self does not merely doubt God; it seeks to establish itself as self-caused, self-defining, and independent. It would author its own origin and determine reality on its own terms.
This can also be called the Authorship Problem. The Fall is not only disobedience, pride, or separation. It is fundamentally a crisis of authorship.
The Son desires to be the creator of themself and of a kingdom belonging to themself alone. They attempt to become sole author rather than created co-creator. The physical world of separation is therefore a false work of imagination: a private dream built upon the denial of the true Author.
The Work is not the destruction of creativity, but its restoration. To recover right authorship is to recognize that the human being does not create from nothing in isolation, but participates consciously in the ongoing expression of the One: receiving, discerning, ordering, and incarnating what is given.
