Adam Belial
the kingdom of Cain, Esau and Pharaoh

Adam Belial as a dark inversion and counter to the World and Sefirotic progression stemming from Adam Kadmon.
Belial is "Wickedness" in Hebrew
Adam Belial or Adam of Belial: “Adam of Wickedness”
"The Realm of Evil.—Besides the heavenly realm of the Sephiroth of light or of the good, there is also a realm of the Sephiroth of darkness or of evil. Over against the supreme emanation of light, the Adam Kadmon, stands as opponent the Adam Belial. The same is the case with every light-sephirah, it is opposed by a Sephirah of darkness. Thus both are related to one another as the right side to the left ; the light-Sephiroth form the right side, the darkness-Sephiroth the left side (sitra achra). The realm of darkness is figuratively called also the kingdom of Cain, Esau and Pharaoh (Zohar, I, 55a). Like the kingdom of light that of darkness has ten degrees. As the kingdom of light is inhabited by good spirits, so the kingdom of darkness is inhabited by evil spirits (demons, shells)." - 1913 book by the researcher Pick, "The Cabala, its influence on Judaism and Christianity,"
Scholem emphasized this in his massive work on Sabbatianism as well... with copious quotations from the Lurianic writings. In fact in his overview of the Lurianic System we find the following:
"Thus you may understand the mystery of the exile of the Shekhinah. Since the destruction of the Temple this is the work of God, until He shall have ended His work of gathering all the souls that have fallen into the qelippoth of the Anti-Adam of Belial and mingled with him from his head to his feet. Until He has finished gathering in even those [last and lowest souls] that have fallen to the feet [of this Adam of the qelippah], the messiah cannot come, neither can Israel be redeemed. . . . However, the Shekhinah can gather them only by means of the good works and prayers of the nether worlds according to the mystery of the verse [Ps. 68:35], “Give ye strength to God.”
this also equated to Counter-Worlds since the Kabbalistic Worlds comprised of various Levels of Soul-Lights once collectively comprised within Adam... was paralleled by the captured Soul-Lights and Sparks comprised in Adam Belial. The Kabbalistic Line of Light or Line of Measure only extends to the Centre-Point of the Lower Purity (Tehiru). It is here that the Dragons Dwell stemming from the imbalance of the Great Lights. Together they form the Great Dragon, Pharoah who liest in the Midst of the Waters. It is also where the Soul of Messiah is tortured in the Serpents' Lair. Only Messiah can overcome this via the Messianic Paradox and become the Holy Serpent or Holy Dragon from which Redemption comes. Notice the Counter-Worlds and Sefirot of Adam Belial in the un-illuminated half of the Lower Tehiru. - Olen Rush Dagummit, from Facebook
