Eros begins, “I want the beautiful thing.” It matures into, “I seek Beauty itself,” and culminates in, “I will create so others can remember Beauty.” The Venusian and Bardic paths are therefore one movement. Love generates art when possession is transfigured into attention, devotion, and generous making.
