Words Organize Perception

Language does more than describe worlds. Logos, naming, metaphor, symbol, incantation, rhetoric, and poetry shape the patterns through which reality is noticed and shared. The Bard therefore creates vocabulary capable of perception. A true phrase does not replace Reality; it helps the hearer see what was already there.
