Truth Embodied Through Enacted Role
Theatre grows through Dionysian ritual, Greek tragedy, liturgical drama, medieval mystery cycles, passion plays, Shakespeare, and modern performance. Drama makes truth bodily: role, voice, gesture, conflict, and consequence become present before a community. It stands near initiation because both transform through enacted passage rather than explanation alone.
