The Kingdom Given Meaning
The Crown integrates; the Bard articulates. The King knows what the Kingdom serves, while the Bard gives that order story, anthem, myth, image, ceremony, and memory. Political order without remembered meaning becomes administration. The King rules space; the Bard preserves time. Book XI creates conditions for sacred order, and Book XIII gives that order a living culture.
