Works of the Royal Art
A feast composes food, table, clothing, music, conversation, ritual, hospitality, memory, and beauty. It turns nourishment into relationship and time into celebration. Jesus repeatedly uses banquet imagery, and New Jerusalem culminates in wedding imagery. The future Kingdom needs feasts because Bardic art exists partly to make life celebratory.
