The Psalms hold praise, lament, anger, gratitude, repentance, prophecy, kingship, exile, and restoration. They prove that sacred poetry need not suppress any truthful movement of the soul. A Royal Psalter belongs in Book XIII because the Bardic vocation is not merely aesthetic. It gives the whole human heart a form capable of prayer.
