Awakened Mythopoesis

Modernity dismisses myth as false; some spiritualities treat it as a ladder to discard. After Revelation, the Bard neither mistakes symbol for literal Reality nor abandons it. Unconscious mythology becomes awakened mythopoesis: “This is a symbol; therefore I can use it truthfully.” The myth is held lightly enough not to become idolatry and deeply enough to mediate meaning.
