From Consequence to Homecoming
Tragedy reveals consequence, limitation, pride, mortality, and irreversible loss. Comedy in its classical and divine sense ends in restoration, marriage, reunion, and right order. The Great Story contains tragedy but is ultimately Romance, Comedy, and eucatastrophe. Dante’s Comedy moves from misery to beatitude; the Royal Art passes through apocalypse but ends in homecoming.
