Illumination and Enactment
Gnosis says: know what you are. Theurgy says: participate in the divine order you have known. One is illumination; the other is enactment. Gnosis without theurgy risks visionary or intellectual self-certainty. Theurgy without gnosis risks becoming empty ritual. Their union is living initiation. Within the Royal Art, theurgy is magic converted from control into participation. The question dividing sorcery from sacred art is sovereignty: does the ego seek to impose its will, or does the soul consent to the order of the Kingdom?
