Knowing That Changes the Knower
Gnosis is not possession of rare facts, exotic cosmology, or superiority over the uninitiated. It is a conversion of perception in which the person remembers their origin, recognizes ignorance and shadow, and becomes capable of love, freedom, and truthfulness. Its test is fruit: humility rather than inflation, compassion rather than contempt, and a life more available to reality.
