Theurgy is not the manipulation of reality for egoic will. It is ritual participation in divine action, by which the soul is reoriented toward the gods and toward God. Within the Royal Art, it is magic converted from control into participation. The decisive question is sovereignty: does the ego command, or does the soul consent to the Kingdom?
