Awaken—Then Return
Some Gnostic rhetoric seeks escape from the prison. The Royal Art distinguishes awakening from contempt. The body and world become prisons when taken as the whole of reality; they become fields of service when placed beneath Spirit. Royal spirituality awakens beyond false identification and returns to heal the Wasteland. The King does not merely escape the realm of suffering; the King returns to make the wells flow. Christ and the Grail correct any spirituality that abandons the prisoners in the name of liberation.
