Overview
The Zelator begins the Great Work in earnest, starting with the densest element: Earth. This grade is about grounding, embodiment, purification of the physical body, and establishing the foundation of all magical work. The Zelator learns to work with the physical plane, to honor the body as temple, and to master the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
This is the first stage of Nigredo — the blackening, the descent into matter, the confrontation with the shadow in its most material form.
