The Hero - the protagonist

  • the duality of being both the storyteller and the character in the story…

all heroes are nobility born into poverty who have to arise out of it.

Existence is a Story Nothing more, but certainly nothing less

Our entire experience of life is structured as a Character in a Story We see our days and years as having certain arcs We undergo certain projects and journeys, and in our lives we experience endings and beginnings, births and deaths….

Children love a good story, a good movie…. and we are all still children in the eyes of our Father and our Mother

We are the main character of our story that exists within a greater human story that exists within the greater universal story We are the protagonist and the Hero of our own Myth

You are the Chosen One, born with a sacred purpose. You hold the key to the awakening and liberation of your brothers and sisters. Only you can undertake the Quest, only you can slay the dragon and face the Dark Lord, defeat him and restore the Land to harmony.

“We have not even to risk the adventure alone for the heroes of all time have gone before us. The labyrinth is thoroughly known... we have only to follow the thread of the hero path. And where we had thought to find an abomination we shall find a God. And where we had thought to slay another we shall slay ourselves. Where we had thought to travel outwards we shall come to the center of our own existence. And where we had thought to be alone we shall be with all the world.” — Joseph Campbell
