A true fantasy does not merely ask the reader to “suspend disbelief.” It creates a Secondary World with such inner coherence that the reader enters it with Secondary Belief.
Reality itself may be understood as the dreaming Son’s Secondary World: an internally coherent realm generated by Divine Imagination. The soul enters it, believes it, suffers it, loves it, and eventually awakens to the Primary Reality behind it.
