Natural Law - Right & Wrong - Objective Morality -Rights

Natural Law

Natural Law is that immutable Law which governs all actions and consequences in existence.

NATURAL - inherent to and having a basis in reality and nature. In other words, not manmade.

LAW - an existing condition that is both binding and immutable.

Natural law - “a set of universal non man made, binding and unchangeable conditions, which govern the behavioral consequence of sentient beings. (MP definition)

the understanding of natural law law actually constitutes a science of morality, which requires no belief or faith, belief or disbelief in these laws is completely irrelevant, as they exist as surely as any physical law such as gravity,

All sentient beings have a Natural Right that is innate and comes from Nature/God.

This right could be defined as “do what you will, as long as it does not block the free will choice of another”

Violators of Natural Law reap karmic consequences of this act of theft, violence, or coercion.

  • The Way of Nature
  • Intuitive, immediate, obvious, natural, simple

Natural Law is the law of life

  • Karma - what you put out is what you get back
  • Violating Natural Law results in pain, suffering, struggle…

Why is understanding natural law so important?

The understanding of natural law is critically important to human beings who seek to live in freedom, morality, prosperity and peace together.

Since the individual and the entire society individually and collectively reap what they have sown** it is of fundamental importance for human beings to know with certainty, what the difference between right behavior and wrong behavior actually is.

Natural Right

What is Natural Rights?

  • Innate Rights, Divinely bestowed
  • Every person has exact same rights

Our Natural Right is innate in us as divine beings, children of The Creator.

We have the inalienable right to our life, to our freedom, and to our own property. We have the right to live our life as we Will, so long as we do not harm or infringe on the rights of other beings. We have the Right to exist.

  • *What is a right? Correct, Just, True, Lawful, Moral,
  • *Any action that does not harm another sentient being
  • Do what you wish, as long as it does not interfere with another’s rights

Apophatic definition - Negative definition of rights Essentially, other than doing an action that harms or takes away the free will choice of another being - you can do WHATEVER you want.

We understand what is RIGHT through understanding first and foremost that which is WRONG - we cut out those actions which are harmful and violent and what remains is either morally positive, or at the very least neutral and harms none.

(you don’t have a right to healthcare, etc.) You only have a right for others to not prevent you from obtaining things which you are capable of obtaining What does the right to healthcare mean if you are living in a small community on an isolated island?

You don’t have a “right” to food, you have the right to obtain food in a non-violent manner.

  • The Definition of a Right
  • All Rights Are Negative What is Natural Rights?
  • Innate Rights, Divinely bestowed
  • Every person has exact same rights What is a right?
  • Correct, Just, True, Lawful, Moral,
  • Any action that does not harm another sentient being
  • Do what you wish, as long as it does not interfere with another’s rights
  • Apophatic definition A right is based in Truth, in Natural Law, Objective Morality
  • No person or man-made institution can define or take away rights - they are divine
  • Legal is not moral or right Rights
  • Actions that do not initiate harm towards other sentient beings
  • Harm - means to take away their free will, commit violence, theft (all these are one and the same)

Good & Evil

Immorality consists of violating another’s free will choice Theft, manipulation, enslavement, coercion,

Violence is violation of Free Will - The only evil is the taking away of free will

Transgressions against Natural Law

  • Violence
  • Theft
  • Manipulation

“Do what thou wilt is the whole of the Law”

Right & Wrong

  • * A right is an action that does not initiate harm against another sentient being.
  • Do what you wish as long as it harm none
  • No theft, violence, coercion/manipulation. Aggression against another’s sovereignty and free will choice and property

Right, moral, divine, good, loving, giving, beautiful, just, ethical

  • Right - an action which does NOT harm other sentient beings
  • Wrong - an action which DOES harm other sentient beings
    • Wrong, immoral, anti-divine, evil, violent, theft, ugly, unjust, unethical

Violence

  1. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent hurt or kill the flesh of another Theft of Property(including their body)
  2. Do not willfully and without fully informed consent take or damage anything that does not belong to You alone Coercion, Lying, Manipulation
  3. Do not willfully defraud another (which can only happen without fully informed consent)

Theft All violations against a person’s natural rights are forms of theft: Murder (theft of life) Rape (theft of bodily autonomy) Robbery (theft of property) Kidnapping (theft of liberty) Assault (theft of liberty and safety) Coercion (theft of free will choice)

Universal, Objective Morality

There is Objective Truth Truth is objective What is Truth?

Truth is “that which is” The idea that there is no objective truth and everything is subjective is based in ignorance, ego, materialism. This ideology permits any and all kinds of evil and acts that go against nature.

There is an objective standard of morality Moral Relativism is due to ignorance

Basic Morality consists of this: Do not steal what is not yours by right. Do not commit violence against another sentient being. Do not violate another’s free will choice. Do not lie and manipulate to thwart another’s free will choice

You do not have an innate right to have anything - but you have a right to not be blocked by anyone in your pursuit of your will (so long as you do not commit violence against others in that pursuit)

The Idea that Morality is Subjective or Relative

morality is objective and derives from God's nature or commands, making it universally binding. Relativist or subjectivist positions always have logical inconsistencies, such as the inability to justify "ought" statements without an external standard.

a “Right”

A Right is an action that does not cause harm to any sentient being.

What is Freedom?

unrestricted expression of the Will

Where does our Natural Right come from? - From God

Morality = What you cannot do (?) Ethics = What you should not do (?)

The Principle of Non-Violence

NAP: Non-Agression Principle

It is morally wrong, a violation of natural law and universal objective morality, to aggress against another.

This is the foundation of anarchist and libertarian philosophy.

Morality and Right-Action are simple and obvious - to not aggress or commit violence against any other being.

“No individual or group of individuals has the right to initiate violence and coercion against other human beings who are not aggressing against them.”

self defense

Self-protection through use of force

  • Force used in self-defense is not violence
  • Can be equal to the amount of violence used against you - if they are threatening your life, you are within your right to end theirs if you are not able to safely subdue them.

Your rights do not come from government. They don’t come from the Constitution. They come from fom God. From your nature as a divine being and the child of the Creator

You are a sovereign individual being You are a child of the One Source You are free to do as you will, so long as it does not interfere in the free will choice of others.
