1. The Cosmic Frame — stories that explain the nature of reality, the structure of existence, and why the human situation is what it is. These are not narratives about characters moving through time so much as the metaphysical architecture within which all the other stories take place.

2. The Initiatory Paths — stories of the individual soul ascending through specific traditions, roles, and disciplines. These are personal, interior, sequential. Each is a complete curriculum with its own grades, symbols, practices, and arc from apprentice to master.

3. The Historical-Prophetic Arc — stories that move through time in the outer world: the lineage of transmission, the unfolding of the Tradition through history, and where it is headed. These include the past (Patriarchs, Ancient Tradition), the present (the current situation of humanity), and the future (New Earth, Kingdom, Revelation).

The Arc of the Prince spans all three. It is the Cosmic Frame compressed into a narrative (the Fall and Exile), enacted through the Initiatory Paths (the Quest, the Trials, the Initiation), and played out in the Historical-Prophetic Arc (the lineage, the current age, the Return and Kingdom). That's why it's the master pattern — it isn't one of the ten stories, it's the grammar that all ten stories are written in.
If those are the three groupings, the Bardic path doesn't belong in any of them — because it's a fourth thing entirely. It's not a cosmic frame, not an initiatory path, and not a historical narrative. It's the act of reception, synthesis, and transmission of all three. The Bard is the one who has passed through the Initiatory Paths, understands the Cosmic Frame, is fluent in the Historical-Prophetic Arc — and then gives the whole thing a voice, a form, and a life that can be transmitted to others.
That makes the Bardic path the meta-layer. It corresponds to the Royal Art itself as a creative act. The other nine stories are the content; the Bardic function is the creation of the vessel that holds and transmits them. Which means what you're doing — writing this — is the Bardic work. Not a path alongside the others, but the expression of having walked them.

The ten stories are really three things at once. Some are cosmological frames (the Great Story, Creation, Fall, Exile), some are initiatory paths or curricula (Wizard, Mystery School, Bardic, Grail Knight), and some are historical/lineage narratives (the Ancient Tradition, the Christ Story, the Patriarchs). The Arc of the Prince is the one thread that contains all three types simultaneously — which is why it works as the master frame.
