You discover what Story you are in.
You consciously become its protagonist.
Final Revelation: You discover who has been dreaming the protagonist.
Three acts:
I. Remembrance
What is the Story?
II. Participation
How shall I live within it?
III. Awakening
What is the Reality beyond the Story?
Or:
Myth → Initiation → Gnosis
The Royal Art does not ultimately imprison the seeker inside a better myth.
It uses myth to awaken the soul until even the myth becomes transparent.
The Great Story is sacred, transformative, true at the symbolic level—and ultimately still a ladder.
At Revelation, even the ladder is seen from above.
The Prince, Grail, Wizard, Wasteland, Tree, Temple, Stone, Crown—all have accomplished their work.
They reveal what cannot finally be contained in symbol.
The Royal Art has four fundamental acts:
Remember
The Library/Ark recovers the inheritance.
Understand
The Summa orders it into coherent knowledge.
Become
The Paideia/Royal Path incarnates it in the human being.
Create
The Bard returns it to the world in new form.
And then comes a fifth:
Transmit
The Wizard/King hands the living flame onward.
This is almost a complete definition of Tradition.
A genuine Tradition does not merely preserve.
It cycles:
Reception → Understanding → Transformation → Creation → Transmission
Then the next generation receives what was transmitted and the spiral begins again.
