Four ways to read the shift
Historically, communications, technology, economies, and institutions are changing. Psychologically, people reassess identity, authority, and inherited beliefs. Spiritually, a crisis of meaning may open new forms of awareness and practice. Mythically, these changes can be read as an ordeal before renewal. These readings overlap, but none proves that a single new age is inevitable. Book X should hold the possibility of transformation open while asking what evidence and lived experience support each claim.
