What Must Be Guarded—and What Cannot Be Possessed
Secret — deliberately withheld information. Esoteric — knowledge understood inwardly or through prepared perception. Mystery — reality that cannot be exhausted conceptually. Secrecy has served protection, privacy, gradual pedagogy, and group identity; it can also create false prestige. A mature Mystery School serves Mystery, not secrecy for its own sake.
