When the Gods Enter the Psyche
As modernity makes older metaphysical claims harder to sustain publicly, occult traditions are increasingly read psychologically. Planetary gods become archetypes; initiation becomes individuation; alchemy becomes transformation of the psyche. This is both loss and preservation: the cosmos is interiorized, yet its symbolic powers remain available for conscious work.
