The four elements △ ▽ ♀ △ form a cross above the two lions supporting the pillar. The lions represent natural energies that fuel the work. On the pillar itself are inscribed the ciphers for Salt ⊖, Sulfur ♄, and Mercury ☿. They lead up to the Stone ♂ and the White Eagle, symbol of the ascended spirit.”
