Perception of reality IS the creation of reality. In the act of perception, you are creating your reality-experience based upon your deep unconscious belief about what it is.

Essentially, this means that you are projecting the external reality as you create it to be, not receiving it as it is.

We don’t perceive reality. Perception IS reality. What we call “reality” is merely a perception.

The Truth of how Perception IS Reality

As You Believe, So You Perceive

What you believe, you perceive, and your perception, in turn, reinforces your belief.

You think you perceive things as they are… You don’t. You perceive things as YOU are.

You cannot separate the perceiver and the perceived The observer and the observed Quantum physics has now discovered this truth that sages have known for thousands of years.

You cannot separate the thing in itself from your perception of it Everything exists within you, created by your consciousness

You can understand how this works if you become at least somewhat lucid in your dreams.

You will recognize that everything in your dream that seems to be happening to you is at a deeper level being created by your own mind.

The whole movie you are participating in is being projected from and within your own consciousness. And if you become aware and sensitive enough to this, you can actually watch it happen.

The waking dream is no different It is not happening TO you It is happening FROM you and THROUGH you

If you are seeing something outside of you - know that you contain it, you have created it. This means that those who fight against others in the external world are only fighting with their own shadows and mirror reflections. For example: those who see others in terms of race and those who perceive racism everywhere, the racist and the anti-racist, are both inwardly obsessed with race and so see it everywhere. They create that reality-experience, they attract themselves to one another.

To take possession of The original Latin definition hints at the fact that perception is not a passive act - but is rather a total seizing, a taking possession of.

Perception is not a passive activity It is not external things impacting you - it is your consciousness actually creating the objects of perception

You Perceive What You Are

How you perceive and what you perceive are one.

“When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change.” This refers to this truth. But most people assume this is metaphorical. It is not - it is LITERAL You literally experience the reality that reflects your beliefs, emotions, and thoughts.

Perceived and Perceiver Are One

Without your perception, things don’t exist at all

“If a tree falls in the forest does it make a sound?” No it doesn’t. For there is no-one there to perceive it. No-one there to “create” the forest, the tree, the falling, and the sound of it hitting the ground.

This seems to be a rather radical idea. That there is no solid reality “out there” and everything we perceive is our projection. We want there to be some solid, real reality that we can all agree on. We want that safety of the known. But existence has no desire to conform to our fearful need for security.

The fact that reality is subjective, that there is no one truth, and that every being creates their own reality-experience is powerfully liberating. For it means you are absolutely free to experience any outcome from an experience no matter what anyone else believes.

It means you are not in any way a slave to the external reality and you always have the power to experience the reality you prefer.

Mis-Perception

What then is mis-perception? It is to perceive from a place of false, limiting, fear-based, and separation-based belief Perceiving from that consciousness results in the creation of pain and suffering - because it is out of alignment with Truth

All perceptions are equally valid, but mis-perception leads to suffering.

The Implications

Everybody is creating and living in their own reality There is no THE World - every person is in their own room

Perception is always subjective - there is no one reality, one truth, one history, one event.

We see what we believe we will see. We see what we want to see. We ignore what we want to ignore.

The implications for politics, media, peoples perceptions and beliefs about what is going on in the world.

Humans have been controlled through control of perception. A narrowing of what is possible and what is real. Conditioning perception and belief so that people perceive only within a very narrow bandwidth

Perception IS Reality

But when a person recounts an event that does not match another person’s recounting of the same event, it is considered that one is lying. See instead that even in that case it is about the inner vision. I see what I want to see and I make my own individual interpretation. As much an illusion as I, St Germain, or I am as much for real as what you call physical experience.

Everything is inside the viewer’s interior. Always remember that before you judge someone, call someone a liar. Remember that the outcome of a fellow human being’s action depends on how you receive, what you choose to see or hear. A word that you may perceive as malicious may not have been meant that way at all, but it was your interpretation of it all. In this way, we all live in the illusion that few people have the absolute purity to see and interpret reality exactly as it is.

The illusion contains the trials of your life and these trials ease when you can see in your heart what it is really about, what it is in you that reacts. So continue with your development, a little at a time and understand that as you develop, your view of the illusion also changes and you get closer and closer to the truth. Closer and closer to inner peace and enjoyment of life.
