Reality is a Fairy Tale & Fairy Tales are Reality
maybe “reality” is actually like a fairy tale and is full of wonder and magic and mysteries
Fairy Stories and Truth For Tolkien, fairy stories are not escapist fantasies detached from truth. Instead, they reveal deeper spiritual and metaphysical truths through metaphor and symbol. He believed that the best fairy stories, while imaginative, ultimately lead us to profound reflections on reality, morality, and the divine.
Reality is Stranger Than Fiction - Myth is Truer than History
“But please remember: this is only a work of fiction. The truth, as always, will be far stranger.” - Arthur C Clarke
“Reality is for people that lack imagination.”
- Hayao Miyazaki
“Humans will be shocked to discover that fantasy and fairy tales are the way that life is”
truth is stranger than fiction, and far more miraculous too.
"Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't." - Mark Twain
Truth is stranger than fiction Imagination is more real than reality Life is a more magical than fantasy Waking life is just another dream
Facts are just as false as opinion.
"Not only is the Universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we CAN imagine"
- Terrence Mckenna
“To paraphrase J. B. S. Haldane: Our situation may not only be stranger than we suppose; it may be stranger than we can suppose” [True Hallucinations].
J. B. S. Haldane (1892–1964), a British geneticist, wrote in Possible Worlds and Other Papers (1927): “Now, my own suspicion is that the universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.”
Life is truly far stranger than fiction It is only our overly materialistic modern pseudo-scientific society that makes us feel that there is no magic, mystery, and wonder in life.
We exist within a subjective multidimensional omniverse of infinite consciousness, not an objective external material world.
The things that are possible and that humanity will discover are beyond the wildest imaginings of our science fiction. Soon humanity as a whole will be astonished to discover that magic is real, myth is true, and a fairy tale is what life actually is.
The true strangeness is that the majority of humanity is locked within such a limited conception of reality. That our imagination and perceptions have been confined into less than 1% of the total reality.
Human beings have actually deluded themselves into thinking the universe is devoid of magic and mystery and that certain things are impossible because of the illusion of objective reality. This itself is a miraculous achievement.
Magic and mystery are everywhere but few have the open eyes, minds, and hearts to perceive it.
We live in a science fiction story
The truth truly is stranger than fiction
We are living a myth
We have been told we live in a materialistic world where our history is known and there is little else happening beyond earth
Yet the clues and evidence is everywhere for those who have eyes to see and can free themselves from the externally imposed false-matrix.
So much has been hidden by our governments - technological advances that are hundreds of years beyond what the rest of the population knows and uses. Interactions with many extraterrestrial civilizations The reality of psychic phenomena and a spiritual dimension of Existence that underlies and is the source of this physical time-space bound reality
That Human Beings did not evolve from monkeys, but are hybrid beings seeded upon earth and genetically hybridized by extraterretrial civilizations with their own agendas
That we are playing roles in a Space Opera that spans billions of years and countless galaxies
Fantasy & Myth is more Real/True than Reality
One of Tolkien’s most radical assertions was that fantasy was not an escape from reality—it was a means of seeing reality more clearly. He believed that literature should not be a mirror that merely reflects the world, but a lens that reveals it anew.
From J. R. R. Tolkien: A Biography
“But, said Lewis, myths are lies, even though lies breathed through silver.” No, said Tolkien, they are not. …just as speech is invention about objects and ideas, so myth is invention about truth. But Tolkien had another idea, although for him it was no longer just an idea. He knew that all of these ancient and beautiful stories were echoes of something larger and truer. They were signs that the human race knew of another world that had once existed and would exist again and even now existed in another realm, outside time. He knew the myths of the gods who died in a sacrificial way but who would rise again and live, but he did not know them as unconnected to the world of reality and history. For him they were echoes of a larger reality that had at one time burst through into history, but only once. ”We have come from God (continued Tolkien), and inevitably the myths woven by us, though they contain error, will also reflect a splintered fragment of the true light, the eternal truth that is with God. Indeed only by myth-making, only by becoming a ‘sub-creator’ and inventing stories, can Man aspire to the state of perfection that he knew before the Fall. Our myths may be misguided, but they steer however shakily towards the true harbour, while materialistic ‘progress’ leads only to a yawning abyss and the Iron Crown of the power of evil.” So that night on the dark wooded path with his friend Jack he asked the question that would change Jack’s life. He asked Jack to consider whether it was possible that one time this myth had coincided with history — whether one time eternity might have broken through into time. Tolkien suggested that it had, that the myth of the god who had died and come to life was an echo of a greater story — of perhaps the greatest story that ever was told — and that one time in history this eternal story had bloomed into reality, had broken through into history and time as a crocus breaks through the snow. And it had changed everything forever and ever, had brought spring into winter, had brought eternity itself into time. Lewis had never considered that. But Tolkien pressed him to consider it and so now he would consider it, and it would haunt him.
